Join us Sunday, March 19, as we participate in communion together. Communion (aka, “The Lord’s Supper”) is an opportunity that we participate in as a memorial of Jesus’ dying on our behalf on the cross. All those who have put their faith and trust in Christ are welcomed to participate with us in communion. This is always a great time for our church family to bond together over our common identity in Jesus.
Things you may consider doing in advance to be prepared to participate include:
– Praying and turning over any unconfessed sin to God. Come to communion with a pure heart.
– Seek to repair any relationships where needed and possible.
– Read Luke 22:14-20, one of the accounts of the last supper, which we do communion in memorial of.

Relationships happen around meals. Last Sunday was an incredible day for our church family as we welcomed 115 people into our worship gathering. To deepen our friendships and relationships with each other, we’re going to enjoy tacos being catered in for us – all free of charge to you!
So bring a friend to church with you this week, and tell them lunch is on us! We’re talking about some legit carne asada, chicken, carnitas, and all the works here, people! Seriously… Who doesn’t like tacos?! See you this Sunday!

Reading through the New Testament in 30 days
This January, we’re kicking the year off with an awesome opportunity to get into God’s Word – together as a church. It’s New Thru 30, a reading plan to take us through the entire new Testament in 30 days. It will require about 30-40 minutes of actual reading time per day, but the benefits to you personally, and for our entire church family, will be immeasurable!
We’re inviting everyone to join us beginning Monday, January 9, 2017! We’ve got a printable reading plan you can download below, a reading book mark that is available at our Sunday morning worship gatherings, or better yet, use the Bible App reading plan! That way you’ll receive reminders and notifications to help keep you on track, and measure your progress. You can even use it to follow along with other friends who use the app and create accountability for one another.
We also encourage all of our LifeCity Church family to share what God is teaching you through this reading plan by using the hashtag #NT30 on social media!

Join us for a VERY special Christmas Eve celebration at LifeCity Church! It’s not really Christmas time, until we take a moment and remember WHO Christmas is all about. Christmas reminds us that we’re never really along – that God came to us, so that we could know Him, and experience His presence.
So join us for Christmas Eve, as we celebrate, have some fun, tell the Christmas story for the kids, and have communion as a church family. Kids will sing a special Christmas song, and it’ll be a time to remember before opening gifts. We hope to see you there!

Student Camp: Info Meeting

We’re taking our students on an exciting experience they’ll remember the rest of their lives! This is the first year that LifeCity Church is offering a first-class youth camp for students entering 6th-12th grade for the 2017-18 school year.
The Student Camp is going to be at Camp Pondo, in beautiful southern California. Many parents have questions and want to know that this will be a safe and rewarding experience for their student – so we’re hosting this info meeting to share all the details you might have, and answer any questions.

Every student who gets signed up and gives their $50 deposit, will have another $50 credited to them by LifeCity!

God is good! LifeCity Church is ON THE MOVE as we get ready to relocate our Sunday morning worship gathering to Santa Clara High School, beginning February 19. This is going to provide a larger space for us to bring more people and grow within, better arrangements for our KidsTown ministry, more recognition for those looking to join us, and room for the future. Much more will be shared as we get nearer to our move, but in the meantime, we’re encouraging all of you to stay connected, get in a ministry team, and invite others to join us as we step forward in faith toward our future!
